Cahill Family Christmas

We took Caroline back to New York for her second Christmas with Granny and Grandad and all her aunties and uncles. She was great -- on the flights, in the different sleeping environments, during the long car rides upstate to see Aunt Dolly and Uncle Ray. She was a trooper! Also, she had her 15-month appointment at the pediatrician where she clocked in at 29 pounds and 33 inches. Solidly average sized -- for a two-year old!

Hi Mommy

Go Brewers!

Caroline's first baseball season and the Brewers go post-season for the first time in 26 years. Coincidence?

Father's Day

Unfortunately, no pics from Carl's first Father's Day. It started out with a trip to Children's Hospital first thing Sunday morning after Baby C had been throwing up for 24 hours. Turns out that she has a bad case of the stomach flu. As of today, we're on day 4 of pedialyte and Baby C is hoping to get back to mushy foods and cheerios soon.

On a happier note, Baby C did have her 9-month appointment on June 13 and she was 29.5 inches and 22 pounds: 95th percentile all around.

I'm ready for my closeup!

While in DC this weekend we discover that Caroline's new favorite thing is smiling for the camera. No matter what she is doing, you pull out the camera and point it at her and she hams it up!

New friends

Caroline met lots of new people in DC, including many next generation pals like Zoko Jr, Nicholas.

Strollin' for the Cure

Caroline heads to Washington DC to support her Auntie Karin, one of mommy and daddy's best friends who is battling breast cancer. Baby C rocked the 3-mile Komen "Race for the Cure" in her stroller, winding through many DC landmarks such as the Capitol and the White House. Caroline felt hot weather for the first time in the 100-degree heat.

Milwaukee: City of Festivals

Caroline enjoys the first of many festivals in Milwaukee this summer, Riversplash. She and her best buddy Max Siegel play a confined game of duck, duck, goose; she licks some corn; and shows off froggy.

Moving right along

Caroline recently had her four-month pediatrician appointment where she weighed in at 14 lbs, 4 oz. and was 25 inches long.  She sits up with support and loves to "stand."  She also laughs and babbles a lot.  We're still working on rolling over and no signs of any teeth yet.

Although she misses all those day trips to Target and hanging out in various coffee shops with her mom over the last few months, she's enjoying her new routine at day care.  She's a favorite with the ladies at Guardian Angel Learning Center and her "classmates" include her two friends Gracie and Emmersen, whose mommies are friends with Eileen.

Caroline overcame her first cold over the holidays and is back to sleeping through the night - yahoo!

Rice Cereal

Caroline broadens her culinary palate with her first solid food -- rice cereal. It wasn't a huge hit.
